- ➤ Students from Richmond, Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico gathered on Saturday for the third annual Teen Summit RVA at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. - ➤ Patrick Henry's famous words —Give me liberty or give me death— were first used 250 years ago to call Virginia colonists to arms against British rule; descendant Patrick Henry Jolly will reenact the speech Sunday at St. John's Church, with the celebration streamed online. - ➤ The Old Dominion Postcard Club has kept interest in vintage postcards and local history alive in Richmond for nearly 50 years—its 60 members meet monthly at the Weinstein Jewish Community Center on Monument Avenue. - ➤ Lawmakers have proposed deep cuts to SNAP funding that affected over 866,000 people in February, which is nearly 10% of the population. Advocates warn that the changes—if passed—will force states and nonprofits to cover more food costs for low-income residents. Virginia Mercury
