  • A man was arrested minutes after a deadly shooting in Richmond's Mosby Court neighborhood Friday evening—police said 56-year-old Tommy Moore was pulled over on Interstate 64 using a license plate reader and charged with second-degree murder after an argument escalated—following news of the incident near Coalter Street.  6 News

  • Jim Shooter, the former Marvel Comics editor, spoke at GalaxyCon Richmond as he recalled selling his first stories at 14 when his boss asked to speak with his mother. He also reflected on the hit Secret Wars—now inspiring a movie—and said he is working on a streaming project that will be released in 2026.  6 News

  • At least half of US states have outlawed devices that convert pistols into machine guns as lawmakers responded to a rise in these conversion parts with stricter penalties up to 10 years in prison.
