- ➤ An 18-year-old driver named Naseem Kariem King was fatally shot early Sunday morning on Interstate 64 near the ramp for Interstate 95 in Richmond—police said his vehicle stopped on the shoulder with two other passengers unharmed and traffic being diverted during the investigation. 6 News

- ➤ Today, Richmond City Council will vote on a 5-cent bag tax and review proposals on contractor wages, flood mapping, tennis courts, and state funding while the School Board updates its FY26 budget and discusses changes to department agreements.
