- ➤ A fatal crash on Chippenham Parkway at E. Weyburn Road in South Richmond left one person dead and two injured around 4:42 p.m.—police said all victims were taken to a local hospital while investigators work to determine the cause. 6 News

- ➤ Gov. Glenn Youngkin signed a law that requires hospitals and licensed birthing centers to use set rules to spot obstetric emergencies—called safety bundles—to protect moms and babies.
