- ➤ Virginia State Police said that at about 2:13 p.m. Friday on Walkerton Road in King William County a 2020 Freightliner M2 swerved off the road when its driver, 42-year-old Ricardo Jennings from D.C., did not wear his seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle — killing him — while a 26-year-old passenger from Alexandria was rushed to VCU Medical Center in Richmond with injuries. 12 On Your Side
- ➤ Six people lost their homes after three mobile homes at Bexley Mobile Home Park in Prince George County were damaged by fire late Friday — firefighters used tanker trucks as local hydrants failed and five cats and one dog died while the Red Cross assisted the displaced residents. 6 News

- ➤ Officers found a man with gunshot wounds in the Fan overnight and took him to hospital with serious injuries—he was discovered on the 2100 block of West Main Street—while police continue their investigation. 12 On Your Side
- ➤ At a birthday party in Chesterfield's Bellwood area, uninvited guests showed up—brandishing a gun and pistol-whipping a man—prompting police to arrest two people while the injured man was taken to a nearby hospital with minor wounds. 6 News
