- ➤ Jose Rodriguez said his 21-year-old son, Isaac, was shot outside their mobile home on Richmond Highway on August 9, 2021, and the case was closed without clear answers. He said he will keep giving tips to the police—he is determined to find new evidence to bring justice. 6 News

- ➤ The Trauma Healing Response Network hosted a back-to-school event Saturday at Hickory Hill Community Center where children received 1,000 donated backpacks—free haircuts were also provided to help them prepare for the new school year.
