- ➤ Vincent Esposito said he feels like he is living in a hotel in Old Town Manchester because many Airbnbs make the neighborhood feel temporary—he believes that it stops people from settling down. Richmond Times-Dispatch
- ➤ NASCAR driver Alex Bowman and Ally Racing are donating $4,800 per race with $2,400 going to Henrico Humane Society — the donation is split with Best Friends Animal Society to help end pet homelessness and is featured on Bowman's race car. 6 News

- ➤ Karen G. Palma Martinez, 27, now faces a DUI manslaughter charge in a hit-and-run that killed 27-year-old Krystal T. Parker on Aug. 10 — a charge added after the fatal incident — as authorities continue reviewing the case. 12 On Your Side
