- ➤ VCU senior Faustina Koduah completed a summer internship at CoStar Group where she honed her user experience design skills using Figma plus developed proposals for a mobile app aimed at streamlining internal processes. - ➤ Attorney General Jason Miyares joined 21 state Attorneys General in a letter asking the federal government to ban designer Xanax—bromazolam—a dangerous drug linked to nearly 150 overdose cases in Virginia between 2021 and today. - ➤ During Tuesday's committee meeting in Richmond, lawmakers debated legalizing iGaming—exploring revenue opportunities and risks like addiction and illegal play. - ➤ The Chesterfield Planning Commission on Tuesday approved a conditional permit that lets Commonwealth Fusion Systems build a nuclear fusion plant to connect to the commercial power grid. The project, set on a 90-acre site off Battery Brooke Parkway near the I-95/State Route 288 interchange, could produce up to 400 megawatts of power later this decade—pending final approval from the Board of Supervisors.
