- ➤ VCU’s Wilder School will host the 2025 Wilder Symposium on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. at the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond; Governor L. - ➤ Virginia DEQ held a public hearing Monday to get community input on Dominion Energy’s proposed methane plant near a retired coal power plant on Coxendale Road in Chesterfield—set to help balance power during extreme weather, the plant is planned to open in 2029. Community groups such as Friends of Chesterfield raised concerns over potential air quality impacts and higher energy costs. 6 News
