- ➤ VCU researchers under Project PEACE are using photovoice to help students with intellectual and developmental disabilities share their work experiences and employment goals. The program will soon expand to all Richmond Public Schools high schools—building digital portfolios that work like virtual résumés and creating long-lasting community partnerships. - ➤ Virginia Commonwealth University and VCU Health launched Unlocking Potential: VCU’s Campaign for the Future on Sept. 18 at the Stuart C. Siegel Center— a project to raise $1.838 billion to help learning, research and care. - ➤ Virginia voters will cast their ballots on Tuesday, November 4 for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and local offices as Election Day approaches. Voters must register or update their information by October 10 and request absentee ballots by October 24 while early voting began on September 19 and runs until November 1—polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. FOX Richmond
- ➤ A city spokesperson said Richmond will install 10 red light cameras at key intersections to curb rising violations—steps that will begin soon. Richmond Times-Dispatch
