- ➤ A 46-year-old man reported missing on September 13 in Chesterfield County was found safe on Tuesday, September 23 after social media posts helped locate him—local police thanked community members for sharing his information. FOX Richmond

- ➤ Health officials from the Richmond and Henrico Health Districts warned people with asthma that ragweed and mold are causing more breathing problems this fall. They advised individuals to learn the signs of asthma, reduce exposure, and seek medical care — steps to better manage the condition. 12 On Your Side
- ➤ Lester Johnson, co-owner of Mama J's, said on a Zoom call that his family's health insurance cost would double if Congress does not extend the tax credits at the end of this year. Lawmakers are debating proposals to keep the credits in place so small business owners and employees can retain affordable health care — a decision that could soon affect many families. - ➤ Developers and local officials announced that 169 affordable homes will soon be available in the greater Richmond area after a $1.2 million investment from PlanRVA and the Partnership for Housing Affordability supported nine projects—one key project is an 83-unit senior apartment complex on Bainbridge Street in the Swansboro area that preserves part of an old train station as a community center. - ➤ UR alumnus Nick Baldaino, a 2017 MBA graduate, works to grow Richmond’s new floorball community by hosting practice sessions and partnering with the Spider Business Hub. The club has registered over 200 players since June 1 and will hold practice every Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Matthew and Daniel Barton Memorial Rink in Hanover County—aiming to build a strong local base for the sport. - ➤ The Richmond Flying Squirrels ended their final season at The Diamond with a 5—2 loss in a 10-inning game against the Hartford Yard Goats on September 18, drawing a record 52,027 fans during the farewell series.
